Tax evasion and covert work
The searches made it possible to come to the aid of 122 dogs, mainly Belgian shepherds (as well as cocker spaniels and pugs, says SPA France) and five cats, all “in a state of obvious care failure”. They were taken care of by the associations and distributed to various centers, in order to receive the appropriate care, the prosecutor further clarifies.
And the facts do not stop there: there were also seizures of cash worth 20,000 euros, and “the investigations allow us to suspect the commission of tax evasion and money laundering through at least 64 bank accounts”.
