Royal Air Morocco and Emirates announce a codeshare agreement. An agreement that offers customers of both airlines additional travel options to and from destinations on their schedule. They will also have easier access to the entire network of Royal Air Morocco and Emirates.
With effect from the end of this month of May, the two companies will start exchanging their marketing codes for all their flights between Casablanca and Dubai, as well as to almost 209 other destinations. This new partnership will give customers from both companies access to more options to reserve their tickets. The partnership that has just been initialed will also allow customers of the two companies to take advantage of even more competitive prices, especially for the purchase of single or multiple tickets, but also for the transfer of their luggage. Emirates customers will actually be able to access 17 different destinations in Morocco (excluding Casablanca), but also 63 international destinations located in North, West and Central Africa in particular, which span no less than 25 points, different arrivals and departures. In return, Royal Air Morocco customers will be able to benefit from full access to the Emirates’ vast network, which extends beyond Dubai and has more than 130 different destinations, including 60 cities in the Middle East. , USA, West Asia and the Far East.

Note that this new code-sharing agreement comes as Emirates celebrates 20 years of presence in Casablanca. Since 2002, Emirates has carried more than 3.4 million passengers between Dubai and Casablanca, thus contributing strongly to the development of tourism in the country, but also to the development of trade routes and the influence of Moroccan culture and traditions worldwide. Emirates currently operates no less than eight weekly flights to and from Casablanca. Royal Air Morocco will operate a direct line connecting Casablanca to Dubai with a frequency of 4 flights per week.
This code-sharing agreement comes in the wake of the interline partnership that has been initialed between Emirates and Royal Air Morocco for more than two decades. Thanks to this new codeshare partnership with Royal Air Morocco, Emirates will strengthen its presence in Africa more than ever by now offering its customers connectivity to more than 184 different destinations across the continent, in addition to its 21 passenger bridges.
