Tour Jordan | 10 days

The adventurous soul, follow in the footsteps of Nabataean culture. The journey begins in Saudi Arabia, one of the rare destinations where the traveler really feels like an explorer discovering the unknown. Direction Jeddah, former fishing port, its typical houses with windows roshan of Iranian inspiration, its traditional cafes, its fabric souk. The AlUla oasis, in the heart of a 22,500 km² desert province in the northwestern part of the country, is a true open-air museum. The excursion is carried out in the company of a rawi (Arabic storyteller), who will pass on the secrets behind the ancient Nabataean tombs in Hegra, which originate from the V.e century and yet remarkably preserved. Then explore the Ashar Valley and its sandstone cliffs, deciphering the hundreds of rock inscriptions by Jabal Ikmah …

Then you cross the border to reach Jordan. On the program: the mythical Petra, an ancient city sculpted in red sandstone, a passageway for caravans dealing in incense and myrrh to the Roman Empire on the Silk Road to China and India. Then the desert Wadi Rum, a wealth of raw nature, where dunes, devils, giant stone bridges and ancient rock carvings follow each other. Finally, the indispensable Dead Sea, with therapeutic virtues and anchored in a lunar landscape along beaches …

During this journey through time, you will enjoy privileged conditions, to be accompanied and live exceptional experiences such as an evening in the desert with a storyteller to observe the stars, a zareb dinner according to the traditional method or tasting Jordanian wines in Amman.
