CHARLES DE FOUCAULD: Prophet of the Universal Brotherhood

“In the desert we are never alone[1] “. This confirmation is that a lover of the Sahara, brother Charles of Jesus, Charles de Foucauld: it embodies the essence of his life in the desert, where he lived in worship before the Holy Sacrament, his true” treasure “. It was God’s presence and humility, but also the sacrament of love. He had chosen to “take his place as close as possible to Jesus of Nazareth, among the last, even though it meant being hidden and ‘useless’ in the infinity of the desert.[2] “.
